I love helping pregnant parents, and teaching workshops, helping moms learn to use babycarriers, and making belly binding for new moms. My real passion is in postpartum care.  its not easier, or more glamorous as I am cleaning homes, doing dishes and diapers.  It is gratifying.  To help a family adjust after a birth, letting mom have a nap or shower, its helping with the little things. Often i have parents ask me to pick things up for them on my way to a shift.  Make some yummy food for them and the best is helping her learn to read babies cues.   Having someone there to guide and encourage can really make a huge difference to a new parent.
